We have been developing our Scientific skills by exploring different types of leaves in Year 1

As part of our Science focus on plants we have been using the skill of close observation. Whilst at the Curve Garden this week we studied leaves and noticed what was similar and different about them. There is such a great variety of shapes, sizes and colours! We were then each given a unique leaf to try track down in the garden! Did you know that when you eat a salad you are mostly eating leaves?
