Trip to Hackney Museum in Year 1

We went on a school trip to Hackney Museum. We began our trip with a winter walk through London Fields and talked about the icy fields. This helped us discuss the differences between the seasons – our Science topic! Following this, we engaged with the suitcase stories at the Hackney Museum and this gave us a fascinating insight into the history of Hackney and some people from different walks of life who have lived in our wonderful borough.
