Exploring different perceptions of the Vikings in Year 6

In History, we learnt about the different perceptions of Vikings. We compared the same picture but from different viewpoints. One viewpoint was from the Vikings and the other was from the Anglo-Saxon monks who were the target of many Viking attacks. We also spent the lesson discussing the difference in historical sources and why this might be and how the author of the historical source would be dictating how the history was written.
