Hot seating Mary and Joseph about parenting in Year 1

In RE this term, we have been thinking about what makes each character in the Christmas story important. This week we got in role as Mary and Joseph and took part in a hot seating activity. Our peers asked us questions about why we would make good parents for Jesus and we had to talk about our personal attributes. We loved imagining that we were going to be Jesus’ parents and how exciting but also challenging this would be!
