Stretchy learning in Year 1

In PSHE, Year 1 have been thinking about ‘stretchy learning.’  First we stretched up as high as we could, standing on our tiptoes. We learnt that our bodies are very stretchy and that we learn new things, we stretch our thinking skills too! Then we made these beautiful stretchy flowers using pipe cleaners and an outline of our hand. As we did this we had to focus in order carefully cut out the flower and carefully coil the pipe cleaner so it looked like a stretchy spring!
