Lots of Lovely Learning in Nursery!

This week in Nursery, we had an exciting time celebrating Chinese New Year!  We learned about the story of the 12 animals’ race and explored different symbols and traditions of the Lunar New Year. One of our favourite activities was painting fireworks using finger paints and glitter—it was so much fun swirling colours onto our cards!

Our story time continued with “Naughty Bus”, and we let our imaginations run wild by creating our own parts of the story. During Circle Time, we passed around a toy bus, and each friend who wanted to added a new twist to the adventure—we had some very creative ideas! 

In maths, we explored comparing sizes. We looked at big and small objects, as well as short and long ones. One of our most exciting activities was measuring our hands using interlocking cubes and comparing them with our friends’. It was a fantastic way to learn about size and measurement in a fun, hands-on way!

We had such a wonderful week full of learning, creativity, and laughter. We can’t wait for more adventures next week!
