Marvellous Minibeast Learning in Nursery!

This week we continued exploring our core text “Aaaargh, Spider!” and discovered lots of fascinating facts about spiders. The children were especially curious about where spiders’ webs come from, how many legs they have, and how many eyes! They also enjoyed drawing spiders and creating their own using materials like paper plates and playdough.

This week we also started to practise writing our name! So exciting!

In maths, we focused on positional language. The children had fun placing a toy spider in different positions—in, on and under a bowl. They also followed instructions using a ball and parachute to explore words like over, under and beside.
