17 Feb Nursery and The Naughty Bus!
What an exciting and enriching final week of term we’ve had in Nursery! The children have been busy exploring, learning and having lots of fun through hands-on activities.

In Maths, we worked on identifying numerals and matching them with quantities up to 5. Through engaging games and activities, the children strengthened their number recognition and counting skills in a playful way.

In RE, we explored
Holi, the Indian festival of colours! The children enjoyed discovering the meaning behind this joyful celebration, which symbolizes love, happiness, and the arrival of spring. We had a fantastic time painting our faces with vibrant powder paint and dancing to exotic rhythms. It was a joyful way to celebrate and learn about different cultures and traditions.

Inspired by the book
The Wheels on the Tuk Tuk, we conducted a fascinating physics experiment. We explored the question:
Do bigger wheels roll the furthest? by rolling toy cars and tyres down ramps and even our playground hill. The children loved observing and discussing their findings!

We wrapped up our
Naughty Bus story in the most exciting way—with a trip to
Dalston Bus Garage! The children had an unforgettable experience jumping on not one but
two naughty buses! It was a perfect way to bring our story to life and end the term on a high note.
Thank you for your continued support throughout this term. Wishing you all a wonderful and restful break. We look forward to another wonderful term ahead, filled with more learning, creativity, fun and trips!
