Our Vision Day: Year 1

For Vision Day, Year 1 expressed their understanding of our school vision:

Empowered by being given the tools they need to shine their light: Year 1 made sun catchers and discussed how they can shine their light.

Inspired by the teachings of Jesus: Year 1 made a candle class collage with autumn leaves and nature – reflecting on God’s creation and linking to their R.E. unit of study.

Prepared for the future through the key Christian values of Faith, Compassion, Endurance and Respect: Year 1 had a stepping stone values lesson – connecting each value to Bible teachings.

Year 1 also enjoyed a short presentation from our Year 6 Prayer Leaders, to discuss the values Inspired and Prepared.
