Reception Make Strawberry Ice Cream!

The children had a wonderful time exploring how simple ingredients can be mixed to create a delicious treat. They carefully poured and stirred the mixture, watching as it gradually turned into thick cream. We encouraged the children to use their senses as they talked about texture, smell and taste. It also supported their understanding of how to follow instructions, take turns, and work together as a team.

The best part was, of course, tasting their home-made ice cream! There were lots of smiles and excited faces as everyone enjoyed the results of their hard work. Well done, Reception, for your fantastic enthusiasm and excellent teamwork!
