01 Mar Reflecting on the Small but Mighty Mustard Seed
This week in our clergy collective worship, we reflected on two short teachings from the Gospel of Luke.
In Luke 13:18–19, Jesus compares the kingdom of God to a mustard seed—small at first, yet growing into a great tree that offers shelter to many. In Luke 17:5–6, He reminds the apostles that even faith as small as a mustard seed holds great power.
Both passages encourage us to trust in God’s work through small beginnings and faithful hearts. During Lent, let us think of all the small actions we can make that can cause a huge difference
