Sorting and classifying animals in Year 1

We have been using the scientific skills of observing and classifying. First we sorted animals by differences that we could see. Then, just like real Scientists, we classified animals as either mammals or amphibians. We learnt that human beings are mammals as we have hair, we are hot blooded and we give birth to live young!
