Writing ambitious descriptions in Year 5

Year 5 have started a new writing cycle focusing on setting description. On Monday we took an immersive ‘trip’ to the desert and rainforest. We used ambitious vocabulary to describe what we could hear, see, smell and feel, ready for our big write next week.
