Writing letters in Year 4

We have loved reading ‘Father’ by Grahame Baker-Smith this week. We have been exploring character inferences and themes from the story. This week, we have been writing letters in the perspective of the boy to his father after he has left to go to war. Our letters include expanded noun phrases, conjunctions at the start of sentences and paragraphs.
