Year 1 trip to the Queen’s Gallery

1H and 1T had their trip to the Queen’s Gallery. We learnt about how people would pose for portraits and the clothes that they might wear in the past. We then drew some sketches of our own!  We looked carefully at what we could see and tried to copy clothing, facial expressions and background details. It was funny to find out that in the past wigs were really expensive and thieves used to steal them from peoples heads using a hook.
