Year 2 Enjoy Harvesting and Creating at The Garden Classroom

The children enjoyed a hands-on day at King Henry’s Walk, where they harvested parsley they had previously planted and worked in groups to prepare and taste their own fresh salads. They also explored the garden, identifying a range of edible plants and tasting natural ingredients such as herbs and fruits. Alongside this, they created friendship bracelets using sustainable materials and contributed to a class bunting using natural prints, making it a creative and engaging outdoor experience.
