23 Mar Year 2 History: Moon Landings Launch
This week, we launched our Moon Landings History topic by thinking about why a person might want to go to space. We imagined all the reasons—fame, curiosity, and scientific experiments!
Then, we had fun making a Diamond 4 to debate why Buzz Aldrin would have decided to go to the Moon. It was amazing to think about how it must have felt to be one of the first people to walk on the Moon! We even read the story of the Sea of Tranquility and realised that Buzz’s footprints are still visible on the surface of the moon today!
