
31 Mar Year 2 Science: The Power of Food!
Over the past two weeks, Year 2 have been learning all about how to keep their bodies healthy with the power of food! We’ve been sorting foods into different groups: dairy, fruits and vegetables, carbohydrates, proteins and sugars. Did you know that beans are a type of protein? We were surprised to learn about this, especially since we love having beans as a snack during break time.
We’ve also discovered how important it is to eat a balanced diet. This helps keep our bodies strong, healthy, and full of energy for all the fun activities we do each day.
