Year 6’s Narratives: Using Figurative Devices

In the week before we broke up, Year 6 were working on writing to show, not tell, the reader. The aim was to write a narrative inspired by the short film ‘The Clock Tower’ using a range of figurative devices, carefully selected to create powerful imagery.

The children then performed their narratives, sharing their wonderful writing with the class.
