Year 6’s Incredible Black History Month Art and Writing!

Year 6 celebrated Black History Month last week by writing biographies and creating vibrant pop art portraits, inspired by the talented author and poet Sophia Thakur.

The children transformed their curiosities, passions and ambitions into unique superhero powers, imagining the incredible things they hope to achieve in the future. Through their writing and artwork, they explored their identities, celebrated Black excellence and discovered the power of dreaming big!
